the non-believer

wishes are for fools
dreams are for idiots
and love is for the non-believer
then i am the fool
then i am the idiot
and i am the non-believer

i am the one who has promised
to both herself and another
that love is for those 
who believes in it

the one whose only belief
is being with one she loves
and never letting go
for that is true love
and nothing but

but do i need to be in love
to have dreams?
to have wishes?
are these things only for
the non-believer?
the non-believer who doesn't believe
that life is just for
those who do believe
in just love?

i believe in friendship
friendship that sometimes grows into love
but it's it still a friendship?
as long as you still talk to them
and be comfortable?

that is still a friendship
which a believe in
while others just believe in love

so i am the fool
the fool that wishes
i am the idiot
the idiot that dreams
and the non-believer
the non-believer who believes in love
